Well, this week has been full of surprises and changes for us. We've lost a few members lately, removed a few members as well, and we also say goodbye to one of our highest ranked and longest standing members Bayho. We wish Bayho the best as he moves on with other things in his life, and he knows we're always here for'em if he ever returns. Take care of yourself brother. Along with these roster changes we are moving towards a more strict and hardcore raiding environment. We are steadily moving away from tolerance of failure in raids, and more to replacing players that cannot perform. We will be recruiting more players than necessary and our raids will consist of the best of those players. So stay tuned, Putricide kill should be coming soon as well! ALSO for the guild information today, we welcome FIVE new Senior Members - Kainashi - - Alucarrdx - - Beguiler - - Fenrirx - - Weebay - Congratulations to them on their new rankings. Your new forum access should now be available. LASTLY Please look up videos of the following bosses and try to understand as much as you can! - Professor Putricide - Blood Queen Lana'thel - Valithria the Dreamwalker - Sindragosa We will be pushing all four of these fights HARD in 25 man from this point forward. Sundays included. Remember, raid or get replaced. This week, due to me being behind on posts, we have SEVERAL quotes this week, with the main quote coming from Glicia! And the runners up... Not much news of Cataclysm as of late, but we do have much information on the next two minor patches, 3.3.3 and 3.3.5. 3.3.3 is gonna introduce several new pvp and class changes, the primary classes effect will be... death knights, druids, hunters, mages, rogues, warlocks, and warriors. Stay tuned for much more info on changes to these classes! We're also looking at a HUGE part of the pre-Cataclysm event, with the retaking of Gnomergon (at least part of it) for the gnomes, and the Trolls are taking the Echo Isles, giving each faction their own starting area most likely, including new Overcloak graphics that allow you to wear emblems of your city on your cloak! 3.3.5 will introduce another raid instance, the Ruby Sanctum, with both Normal and Heroic versions, Icecrown 25 level gear, all new trinkets akin to the stats/procs of ICC25, and is the first incursion of Deathwing towards Azeroth! Keep up to date on the excitement for this new patch as information comes to us! Screenie of the week comes from Faceatr and an interesting Mohawk bug he had with his Deathbringer's Will. | Weekly Post for Feb 9th, 2010! YOU ARE NOT... wait a minute |

WEEK ONE is complete with our new loot rules in effect. They do seem to have made a difference but REMEMBER, to maintain a raider rank, you must comply with all new rulings and you must be present for all three raid nights. If you do not or are unable to do so, your spot in the raids may be lost and filled by someone else. So this week, be prepared for numerous attempts on Valithria and Putricide! One or both will die soon! Please look up videos of the following bosses and try to understand as much as you can! - Professor Putricide - Blood Queen Lana'thel - Valithria the Dreamwalker - Sindragosa We will be pushing all four of these fights HARD in 25 man from this point forward. Sundays included. Remember, raid or get replaced. Quote of the week is more of a story of the week, courtesy of Eilinn... about Adalis and her "performance" on our Blood Queen attempts. NEW ICECROWN CHANGES. This week they removed ALL of the attempts from NORMAL modes! So in other words, on Normal you can work on any former attempt-limited boss as much as you like or we like. PUTRICIDE ALL WEEK LONG BABY! Heroic modes will still be attempt limited. This is good news for us Screenie of the week is a testament to why I no longer drink alcohol. | Weekly Post for Feb 2nd, 2010! NEW LOOT RULES HERE!! |
Poster: Radiate Valiantbeard
Tue February 2nd, 2010, 12:39 am
FIRST on the AGENDA - NEW LOOT RULES. We've changed up the loot system a bit more due to a lack of attendance on some nights. The following rules are effective IMMEDIATELY. BOSS VALUE CHANGESFARM KILLS (Bosses we've beaten before) are now worth ONE (1) point. This is down from 2. ATTENDANCE POINTSOn MONDAYS of every week, there will be an additional amount of points awarded to members that meet the following criteria... - Present for all three raids (Tues, Weds, Sun) - On time for all three raids (online before 7:30) This points awarded are equal to the number of bosses we kill that week, plus 5. So in other words, if we killed 8 bosses, you'd get 13 points (8 bosses + 5 bonus pts = 13) SPECIFICS- The attendance points will NOT be awarded to applicants. - If you are LATE or ABSENT for a raid, WITH or WITHOUT good reason, you will not receive these points. PENALTY POINTSAlso on MONDAYS of every week, there will be penalty points taken away from players under the following circumstances - Missed one or more raids without giving notice or acceptable reason - Late for one or more raids without giving notice or acceptable reason (Please note, we expect you to plan AROUND the raids so that you can make them.) SPECIFICS- If you give us notice BEFORE the point calculations are done on Monday, then you will not receive this penalty - The penalty is 15 points. - The penalty DOES apply to applicants. LONG-TERM ABSENCE POINT CLEARThis has already been in affect, but to the discretion of the officers, any member who hasn't raided in over a month can potentially have their points cleared. RL reasons/issues can prevent this but we do have to know prior to the point clear about them. You can post HERE with the reasons you'll be late/absent.Full member and don't have access? You've been missing out! Go HERE and post saying you need access! OVERBURNThis is a new bid for members with HIGH point values. This is a guaranteed win. OVERBURN can only be used during the bidding phase of rolls. To use OVERBURN, you must have AT LEAST 150 points, or more. When you use OVERBURN, it costs you 50% of your DKP OR 150 points, whichever is the HIGHEST value. IF there are MORE THAN ONE people using the OVERBURN option, there are NO ROLLS. The person with the HIGHEST current DKP will win the item. PRIMORDIAL SARONITEPrimordial Saronites will be auction offed to guild members on SUNDAYS of each week (only if we raid) They will be randomed off for EITHER 1000g OR 20dkp. (You choose your price when you win the roll) Saronites are for MAINSPEC upgrades only (not plans or for selling). Our quote of the week is brought to you by Larin... again... Up this week is the final unlocking of the Lich King. Patch 3.3.2 releases along with some minor class and dungeon changes, along with the video that occurs before/during/after the Lich King fight (I'm not sure where). WE'RE COMIN FOR YA ARTHAS! For those with knowledge of the spoilers ahead, do NOT talk about it in open channels or in guild chat! Kickin it old school... our first Lady Vashj kill I believe, courtesy of Larin. Submissions for quotes, screenshots, or anything else interesting can also be sent to Dwarven.Rage@gmail.com!

| Weekly Post for Jan 21, 2010! There Will Be Blood. |

Alright this week we've progressed pretty well thus far! EASILY our BEST night in ICC we went in and put the waffles down on the first 4 bosses and Rot/Fester as well, all one shots. Smooth, quick, painless, and we even got some good attempts at the Blood Council (which will be dieing shortly) Also we found we did nicely in TOGC, putting down the first three fights this week and getting some practice on the Twin Valk fight which has been pretty ridiculous in terms of difficulty. More excitement to come this Sunday as we put down Blood Princes and then work our 15 attempts (up from 10 the past couple weeks) at a good shot of downing Putricide or Blood Queen. (Target undetermined) Our quote of the week is brought to you by Faceatr. and the runners up are... Cataclysm has given us very little in the way of news. So there's not much to say here. As far as ICC, the final wing is unlocked in another two weeks. GO GO ALE. BLIZZARD AND ITS EMPLOYEES WILL NEVER ASK FOR YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND PASSWORD - EVER. And our SS of the week is the reason there are starving children in Gnomeregan. Submissions for quotes, screenshots, or anything else interesting can also be sent to Dwarven.Rage@gmail.com!

| Weekly Post for Jan 13, 2010! THIS POST IS LEGENDARY. |
Poster: Radiate Valiantbeard
Wed January 13th, 2010, 1:07 pm
This is an exciting post for me. An 8 month long quest has finally been attained for us, especially for one of our dear close members. Last night, Tuesday the 12th, Ale and Arms strong-armed through Ulduar on a mission. Nothing was spared, nothing forgiven as we fought forward to the cracked prison of Yogg Saron. Thereafter without the assistance of Hodir, we clashed and slashed and fought and finally put down the heathen... During the fight, Mystixrayne had tossed her fragments of Val'anyr into the belly of the beast in hopes to reforge them. After the defeat, and after a small scare due to a full loot window... Mysti looted her item that netted her Ale and Arms first quested Legendary. Well Earned Mysti, congratulations. She had this to say afterwards. Congratulations again Mysti Also, here's your new forum signature you requested! ON other guild related news - We'd like some feedback on what the members feel about set raid slots. That'd mean that 25 members would be the first pick raiders for each raid, required to be online for each raid, and the remainder would be backup members. This week's quote of the week goes straight to Delixe, in some of the best tells I've ever had... and our runners up... News this week on Cataclysm has been shallow. There have been several rumors of the ALPHA starting, but no official word on it yet. So please stay aware and protect yourself. You should all have a Blizzard Authenticator on your account, either the keychain, or the mobile/iphone app download. It makes losing account info or having someone else gain access to your account nearly impossible. Also please make sure that you do not give your information to anyone, especially in emails. I will state this again and again, as blizzard does the same. BLIZZARD AND ITS EMPLOYEES WILL NEVER ASK FOR YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND PASSWORD - EVER. This weeks screenshot is a simple lesson... on when not to banish... Submissions for quotes, screenshots, or anything else interesting can also be sent to Dwarven.Rage@gmail.com!
